Abstract :
In the distribution of electricity, the Distribution Transformer is a very important component for distributing customer electricity. Damage to the Distribution Transformer has disrupted the distribution of electricity services to customers. One of the causes of damage to the Distribution Transformer is Overload.
Overload is overloading the Distribution Transformer that exceeds 80% of the specified capacity rating which can reduce the life of the Distribution Transformer and reduce the quality of service to customers. To overcome Overload, an action
is needed so that the percentage of loading on the Distribution Transformer can be reduced, namely by the addition of Inside Substation. At PT PLN (Persero) UP3 Depok precisely in Ciherang feeders there is a Distribution Transformer that
is Overloaded at PBD substations with 81% loading and an additional PRY substation so that the loading at PBD substations becomes 62.48%. In this case it is evident that the method of adding substations can overcome the Overload on
the Distribution Transformer so that the electricity distribution service can be increasing.
