Abstract :
Voltage shrinkage regulation is a very important thing for PT. PLN in order to maintain the reliability of a network and to minimize losses due to voltage losses. There are several ways to improve shrinkage or reduce the percentage of stress loss, one of which is by using Tap Changer. Tap changer is a transformation comparison change tool to get a secondary operating voltage that is better (desirable) than the changing network / primary voltage. The purpose of this study is to find out what the voltage drop is like and how to overcome it on the transformer using a tap changer and what the tap chager settings are like. The results of observations, tests and the percentage of voltage losses that use Stage 12.6 that has been done is 2.17%. That number is still included in the tolerance limit of the voltage shrinkage, which is below 5% So that the shrinkage results in the feeder is still good and there is no need to do tapping on the tap changer because reliability is still maintained.
