Abstract :
The high energy demand especially in Indonesia and in the world generally continues to increase over time, in fact becoming one of the big problems when the reserves of conventional energy sources or fossil energy are getting limited and we have to reduce the population level. Therefore, it takes the latest energy resources that is wind. Wind speed in Indonesia is generally very big potential to be utilized as alternative energy source to replace the existing energy source. Savonius wind turbine designed to create a wind power generator with low wind speeds at the rooftop of building. The average wind speed in the Indopower International building is about 3m / s, gets a voltage of 4V, with the development and using guide vanes blades the voltage rising to 7V.
