Abstract :
Gas Turbine Generator (GTG) is an electrical energy plants that use a gas turbine as driving generatornya. The gas turbine is designed and made with the principle of work where the heat energy produced from the combustion process of fuel converted into mechanical energy and then converted into electrical energy. The performance of the gas turbine affect temperatures and air humidity nearby towns where the air temperature affect the density of dries. The higher the air temperature around, then the lower the density of dries. This caused a decline in the efficiency of that produced by the turbine gas. However, can be resolved with the addition of fuel flow. Therefore the writer is trying to calculate and analyze the efficiency of gas turbine which is used in the case study in Semarang Lorok Ponds Gas Turbine Generator (GTG) from the influence of the outside air temperature changes to the fuel flow with the calculation of the cycle of thermodynamics namely with ideal cycle method and method of actual cycle. So we can get the analysis results that the efficiency of the gas turbine as a low air temperature far better than the efficiency of the gas turbine as the air temperature is high.
