Abstract :
Unbalanced load on an electric power distribution system always occurs in meeting consumer needs which causes an imbalance in the use or use of uneven electrical energy which results in differences in values in the third phase and this is what causes transformer losses, namely core losses. and also copper loss. The method used is to collect reference journals which are then followed up by taking research data obtained by following the procedures from the PLN ULP Depok City. And for the next step is to perform calculations and analyze the effect of load balance on efficiency transformers. After completing the calculations and analysis, it was concluded that the three transformers were in an unbalanced load state. The results of the calculation of transformer efficiency in the three transformers experienced a decrease in efficiency at DM substations from 98.73% to 98.66%, at JWA substations from 97.65% to 97.59%, then at SJPP substations from 98.04% to 98.01% which is caused by unbalanced loads and losses from transformer distribution.
