Abstract :
Electric power system protection is security carried out on electrical equipment installed in the electric power system against abnormal conditions of the electric power system. In the last one year, according to data from PT. PLN (Persero) there have been four short circuit and overload faults which indicate a failure in the coordination setting of the OCR and GFR protection systems. So to minimize the occurrence of larger disturbances, it is necessary to re-arrange the coordination of the OCR and GFR relays which were discussed in the final project. In this final project, short-circuit fault current calculations and relay settings for coordination of protection on Lasalimu outs, walompo reclosers and siontapina reclosers are carried out. The results of the OCR calculation obtained on the siontapina recloser is a TMS value of 0.160 with a time setting of 0.3 seconds. In the walompo recloser, the TMS value is 0.270 with a time setting of 0.59 seconds. At out Lasalimu the TMS value obtained is 0.368 with a time setting of 0.89 seconds. For the GFR calculation results obtained on recloser siontapina is a TMS value of 0.078 with a time setting of 0.3 seconds. In the walompo recloser the TMS value is 0.106 with a time setting of 0.51 seconds. At out Lasalimu the TMS value obtained is 0.139 with a time setting of 0.80 seconds.
