Abstract :
The earthing system is part of the electrical installation that functions to secure electrical equipment and humans. This earthing system must have impedance resistance properties, so that the overcurrent in the installation network can be flowed quickly to the ground so as to minimize damage to equipment on the tower and protect humans around the tower. In the High Voltage Air Line tower, . This study reviews the grounding in towers D11 , D 13 , DH 14 , D18 and DH20 on the Kembangan ? Petukangan route. This is done to determine the resistance in each tower. After taking measurements on each tower by measuring directly using an earth tester and using 2 auxiliary pegs and calculating the resistance of each tower. This research uses the parameter data of soil resistivity, electrode rod length, and electrode rod radius. The results show that the tower has met the standards of the General Requirements for Earthing Resistance according to Kepdir 520 of 2014, where the 150KV High Voltage Air Line must have a grounding value of <10?, however, improvement of the earth resistance is carried out to maintain a small earth resistance value as a step to minimize damage to the ground. equipment on the tower as well as as a protective measure for humans around the tower. Repairs can be done using the counterpoise method, namely by paralleling the GSW, the tower foot resistance and 4 electrodes connected to the ground bus.
