Abstract :
The load imbalance in an electrical distribution system occurs due to the different ignition
timing of electrical energy in each electricity consumer. The imbalance occurs in singlephase
loads, namely in the R, S and T phases. So in this study, it is necessary to balance the load using the load equalization method so that the load becomes balanced. The BJ38A substation experienced a load imbalance of 15.3667% after balancing the load, the load imbalance decreased to 2.615%. The percentage of losses in neutral conductors is 0.984% to 0.0133%. It can be said that load balancing with the load equalization
method is quite effective in reducing the value of losses for BJ38A distribution substation
customers.
