Abstract :
Low Voltage Main Distribution Panel (LVMDP) is an electrical panel that plays an important role in the distribution system of low voltage electricity, namely 380 V. This LVMDP functions as a low voltage distribution system, protection system and distribution control system. need, including design and testing. Because this LVMDP panel plays an important role in low voltage distribution systems, then research is carried out on the design and testing of Low Voltage Main Distribution Panel (LVMDP) at PT. Sinar Metrindo Perkasa. Testing on the Low voltage Main Distribution Panel (LVMDP) includes visual testing, insulation resistance testing, and dielectric testing. So that the Low Voltage Main Distribution Panel (LVMDP) can work according to the needs of the low voltage electric power distribution system and can function properly. After designing and testing, the LVMDP panel uses ACB with a rating of 2000 A as the main safety and ACB 1200 A as the distribution system. The insulation resistance value on this LVMDP panel is from 165 M? - 1413 M?. While the value of the leakage current after the dielectric test is carried out, the value is 0.51 mA. From these data the LVMDP panel can run properly according to its function.
