Abstract :
The Electricity Distribution System is a system that is directly connected to the customer. This system distributes electricity through the Medium Voltage Network (JTM) 20 KV and the Low Voltage Network (JTR) 220 / 380 V. In distributing electricity to customers/consumers. Electric power must first be lowered its voltage through a Voltage-Decreasing Distribution Transformer (Step Down). So that it can be used by customers. Therefore, the equipment used in the electricity distribution system must maintain its reliability in supplying electric power to customers. To maintain the reliability of the electricity distribution system, it is necessary to maintain the reliability of the tools used. In this case the tool used is the Distribution Transformer. Distribution transformers have an important role in the distribution system because their role is to supply electric power to customers, therefore distribution transformers must be kept reliable so that they can be used for a normal period of time in accordance with the age set by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) 354 of 1972, concerning a transformer that will experience a normal life of 20 years. This standard is used in electrical systems in order to maintain the reliability of the equipment used so that it can be used for a normal period of time. In addition, the transformer is also very susceptible to ambient temperature which can affect the shrinkage of life to be very fast which can make the transformer reduce the life of the transformer. Therefore, distribution transformers must be maintained regularly so that they can maintain their stability and reliability in operating supplying electricity to customers/consumers properly. At the Yos 703 YOS 703 Substation, at night, the results obtained are 52.17 kVA loading with a load percentage of 52%. While at night 50.82 kVA with a load percentage of 50%. At a load of 100 kVA at an average low load of 0.50 it can be loaded at a peak load of 1.00 for 12 hours, loaded 1.06 for 8 hours, loaded 1.11 for 6 hours, loaded 1.21 for 4 hours, loaded 1.42 for 2 hours, and 1.68 for 1 hour. With normal transformer life shrink The results of the research conducted show that the transformer has a lifespan of more than 20 years which has been determined by IEC 354. It is proven from calculations that show the remaining operating hours are 142,987 hours or 16 years. If 16 years is added to the year it has been operating for 8 years. So the age of the transformer reaches 24 years..
