Abstract :
Hot point is a position point where the hot temperature at that point has a very high value. Hot points on electrical equipment is a variable that is always considered because hot points can indicate damage to an equipment. Thermovision is a method used to measure heat with the help of a thermograph camera that uses infrared radiation. One of the electrical components whose hot spot is measured using thermovision is the SUTT tower. In the working area of ULTG Karet, especially SUTT on the Pulomas ? Gambir Lama route, an anomaly was found in the form of very high hot points on several towers, namely T.A1, T.A2, and T.A3. The highest temperature when measuring thermovision reached 89.5 oC at the conductor clamp and for the calculation of ?t using an approach formula based on the PLN maintenance manual, the highest ?t value achieved was 111.53 oC. Therefore, based on the applicable SOP at ULTG Karet, the solution for this is that repairs must be made immediately and re-measurements are carried out afterwards so that electricity distribution remains safe and reliable
