Abstract :
Transmission line is a system of distributing electricity from the generator to the substation. In the process of distributing electricity, the voltage at the generator is increased, this because the transmission lines in Indonesia have a very long distance so that the conductors used are long. The sag of the tower is influenced by various things, one of which is influenced by the magnitude of the ambient temperature. From the observations made, it can be seen that the largest sag occurs at the highest ambient temperature. The highest environmental temperature for the last 5 months was in June 2021 at 34.8? and the sag was 1,57 m. Meanwhile, the conductor tension is inversely proportional to the ambient temperature, where the greater the ambient temperature, the smaller the conductor tension value. The smallest conductor tension occurs in June 2021 when the highest ambient temperature at 34.8? is 7246,534 kg. The smallest free distance occurred in June 2021 but the magnitude of the free distance still meets the standard. Then obtained a strong value of electric field in June 2021 also still meets the standard of below 10 kV/m.
