Abstract :
The Thermovisi method is used to determine the value of temperature measurements on electrical equipment which will identify the condition of the equipment through temperature comparisons between electrical equipment. While the thermal imager is a tool to visualize the temperature of an object. The most important thing in conducting thermovision testing is the temperature comparison value between the jointing clamp and the conductor and the recommended conditions, namely if the temperature ratio is 0? ? 10? which is a good condition, 10? ? 25? is measured in 1 month, 25? ? 40 is repair plans 40? ? 70? i.e. Immediate Repair and 70? ie Emergency. In the tests that the author conducted, data were obtained in the form of 12 measurement conditions in 1 month, 2 conditions were immediately repaired, 1 condition was planned to be repaired, in addition to having good conditions. there are 2 conditions where repairs must be made to the tower S phase A12 on the inner clamp jumper with a temperature of 45.8? while the conductor temperature is 31.3?, then the result of the temperature comparison is 68?. Hotspots can be experienced due to dirty factors, not optimal hotspot detection, inappropriate materials, overload and corrosion. This factor creates a large contact resistance which causes current to accumulate at the connection points and become excessively hot.
