Abstract :
One way to meet the needs of electricity and simultaneously save the use of energy resources is by utilizing the energy contained in the exhaust gas from the Gas Power Plant (PLTG). The use of exhaust gas energy is carried out by combining the PLTG system with the PLTU system so that it becomes a Gas and Steam Power Plant (PLTGU). Especially in maintaining the flow of gas in the gas turbine can be maintained normally, especially when starting up or crows down units, in this study will discuss the isolation analysis of expansion joint LP blade valve to determine the occurrence of heat loss which is known at the expansion joint plays an important role when the unit starts up or crows down, and to keep the temperature that is in the expansion joint of the environment, insulation materials are used. A good isolation is used in this expansion joint by using cramic fiber and rockwool wire blanket because the insulation material can withstand temperatures to a maximum of 650 ° C with a yield of 1.156 watts with total insulation resistance and without the use of materials Isolation is 60,380 watts, so that the ambient temperature of the diexpansion joint is quite safe.
