Abstract :
The current transformer is a component that functions to transform the primary current into the measurement current for metering and protection. As the current transformer ages, the conditions need to be considered, one of which is the insulation resistance of the current transformer. Insulation resistance functions as insulation between coils to prevent the transfer of electric current from one coil to another or coil to ground. To find out the insulation conditions of a current transformer, it is necessary to test the insulation resistance. The research site for the final project is located at the Durikosambi Substation. The data analysis method used is descriptive analysis method by collecting technical data on insulation resistance testing. Based on the SPLN standard, the minimum value of insulation resistance must be > 1MOhm/1kV. Based on the results of the research, the value of primary insulation resistance to ground for the R phase is 14.9 G?, the S phase is 16 G?, and the T phase is 11.6 G?. Secondary insulation resistance to ground is > 1G?. Primary to secondary insulation resistance > 37 G?. The secondary to secondary insulation resistance is >1G?. Based on the comparison between 2018 and 2020, there is a decrease in the insulation resistance value. This is caused by extreme weather factors so that the performance of the current transformer decreases. Therefore, it is necessary to repair the current transformer to keep it in good condition
