Abstract :
In the electric power distribution system, disturbances often occur in the cubicle, namely the corona. This disturbance can reduce the reliability of the electrical energy distribution system. Corona occurs due to the influence of temperature and humidity which causes the air around the conductor to be ionized. The existence of this disturbance will result in power losses and unsold energy. The main cause of corona is because in cubicles, heaters are often found that are not lit or not installed. Heaters that are not turned on or not installed cause the temperature and humidity to decrease so that the relative density of air in the cubicle also decreases. The decrease in the relative density of air causes the air to be unable to withstand the electric field gradient of the corona discharge so that the initial critical disruptive voltage of the corona emergence is lower. When the critical disruptive voltage decreases, it will make in greater power losses and greater unsold energy. At the BN2 substation with a critical disruptive voltage of 2.27 kV, it produces power losses of 82.5 kW. While at the KN204P distribution substation the critical disruptive voltage of 3.06 kV produces power losses of 51.2 kW, as well as the T275P substation with the largest critical disruptive voltage of 3.21 kV produces the smallest power losses of 44.5 kW. At the T275P substation it produces unsold energy of Rp. 1,190,542.32, KN204P substation Rp.1.370,015.46 and BN2 substation Rp.2.207.185.2. The value of unsold energy will be directly proportional to the resulting power losses.
