Abstract :
Motor Control Center (MCC) panel serves as a central application to control several sets of electric motors in industry in a panel manually or automatically. Given the importance of the role of the panel in controlling several sets of motors, so it takes good and reliable quality motor control products. The reliability of the Motor Control Center (MCC) panel is determined by the quality of planning standards involving safety factors in the calculation and technical specifications of planning that are expected to result in a long life of operation of the Motor Control Center (MCC) panel and also a well-maintained level of security. To meet this, the standard barometer used is PUIL 2011. The main components in the design are MCB, MCCB, contactor, EOCR, Current Transformer. The components are assembled into one unit so that they can control the pump motor on the Ammonia Urea project with the Waste Water Treatment system. The relay that has been selected based on the protection function in the relay is Electronic Over Current Relay (EOCR). From the load flow calculation data on the MCC panel, it takes a protection relay with a current rating of 10-100A that can meet the protection needs on the motor. EOCR relays can make control easier because they have digital displays.
