Abstract :
PT Indonesia Power Bali Power Generation Unit has several power plants, one of which is PLTD Pesanggaran which is a power plant located in Bali, where part of Bali's electricity is borne by PLTD Pesanggaran, to create reliable electricity, a component must be maintained such as a fan motor. cooling. Fan Cooling is a device that blows air into the radiator fins to lower the temperature of the water used to cool the diesel engine. One of the components of this cooling water system is a 3-phase induction motor which has a very vital function to rotate the cooling fan so that the cooling water cooling process on the radiator fins goes well. Therefore it is necessary to carry out maintenance and repairs on the fan cooling motor to maintain the optimization of the work of the fan cooling motor. An induction motor used continuously will experience a decrease in performance and even damage, electric motor maintenance must be carried out according to standards so that all specifications can be met and repairs are acceptable. In this case, the maintenance of this motorbike is carried out unplanned, where this unplanned maintenance is a maintenance activity carried out due to unexpected damage, so repairs must be carried out as soon as possible or are emergency. Based on visual data and electrical measurements, it was found that the insulation resistance value increased by 291 M? from the previous 95 M? to 386 M? and the polarization index (PI) value increased by 2 from 1.3 to 3.3, which was above the standard value set by the IEEE. 43. This motor is in good condition and can be operated normally.
