Abstract :
Protection system on konawe feeder at PT. PLN (Persero) UP3 Baubau uses 3 protection systems, namely the Konawe PLTD raha feeder with the SEPAM T20 type of protection, the Konawe GH with the T40 SEPAM protection type, and the Tiworo recloser with the FTU-R201 type. In the protection system there are relays that are used to cut off disturbances in the Konawe feeder, namely over current relay (OCR) and ground fault relay (GFR). Where the OCR is used to secure the short- circuit current between phases and the GFR is used to secure the short-circuit current between the phases and the ground. Disturbance can result in blackouts in the Konawe feeder, if the protection system has a poor level of selectivity. So the protection system requires good settings and coordinated with each other to be able to secure the disturbances that exist in the Konawe feeder. Then the calculation of the OCR protection setting is obtained, namely the recloser tiworo Iset 28.8 A, TMS 0.142, and working time of 0.264 seconds. At GH konawe Iset 53.88 A, TMS 0.217, and working time
0.492 seconds. The ISET PLTD is 74.1 A, TMS is 0.301, and the working time is 0.553 seconds. For setting the GFR protection on the Konawe Iset feeder, all protection is the same, namely 15.2 A. on the tiworo TMS recloser 0.112 and working time of 0.268 seconds. At GH konawe TMS 0.212 and working time 0.559 seconds. In PLTD, the TMS is 0.321 and the working time is 0.799 seconds. For settings on Etap adjust to the setting values provided with the Etap application. It can be seen that the closer the protection setting to the generator, the greater the Iset.
