Abstract :
Voltage transformer is a tool used to reduce the network voltage in the electrical power system to low voltage to be utilized by other equipment such as relays, indicators and measurement tools. The age and time of operation result in the voltage transformer experiencing a decrease in as well as malfunction. Therefore, it is necessary to test to know the condition of the voltage transformer, one of the testing methods used in voltage transformers is delta tangent testing where this test serves to determine the decrease in the isolation capability of an equipment and the capacitance value of the equipment, factors that affect the value of the test results tangent delta is temperature, dirt, humidity and damage to the transformer mechanism. Based on the standard used, ANSI C57.12.90 states that the delta tangent test results will be said to be good if the result is not more than 0.5% and said to be bad if the result has reached 1%. The test results of CVT Bay Salak Baru transformer at Salak Lama Substation resulted in delta tangent value in bad condition with an average value of 1.71% and CVT Bay Salak Lama transformer test results at Salak Baru Substation resulted in delta tangent value in good condition with an average value of 0.53%.
