Abstract :
One of the quality of electric power supply is the quality of the voltage received by consumers. The amount of voltage received by electricity consumers varies, this happens because of the distance between the substation to the distribution substation or conductor losses and the magnitude of the load affects the value of the voltage drop. The voltage drop must be considered so that the voltage level supplied is safe for customer equipment. One way to maintain voltage quality is by using no-load taps on distribution transformers. Offload Tap changer is a transformer winding comparison tool to get a better secondary operating voltage due to the voltage drop in the primary distribution network. With the voltage drop, the voltage on the secondary side becomes unstable, so it is necessary to adjust the appropriate tap changer position to stabilize the voltage. From the results of the calculation of the voltage drop in the off load tap changer position from your sitting feeder, it is set in the tap 2, tap 3 and tap 4 positions. Only the NA 702 transformer changes the tap position from tap 2 to tap 4 with a voltage tolerance range of +5% and -10% of its nominal voltage (360 V - 420 V).
