Abstract :
One of the protection systems used in the Tuguraja feeder is PMT (Power Breaker), CBO (Cirrcuit Breaker Outgoing), and Recloser. In the protection system there is a relay to disconnect in the event of a disturbance, the relays used are OCR relays, and GFR. OCR is a relay that is set to be able to overcome if the tuguraja feeder indicates a phase disturbance. GFR is a relay that is used to overcome if there is an indication of a single phase-ground fault. Disturbances that occur can result in a trip to a feeder, if it cannot be overcome by a protection system that has a very poor level of selectivity, so to overcome this, a setting is made to overcome the disturbance where the closer the point of disturbance to the relay, the faster the relay working time. To overcome these disturbances, the calculation obtained OCR calculations with TMS and time for incoming feeders 0.28 tms or 0.98 seconds, and GFR 0.15 tms or 1.06 seconds, outgoing feeders for OCR 0.30 tms or 0 .68 seconds, and GFR 0.23 tms or 0.67 seconds, and recloser sla for OCR 0.10 tms or 0.27 seconds, and GFR 0.11 tms or 0.27 seconds. So it can be proven that the working time of the relay on the recloser is faster than the relay on the outgoing and incoming feeders
