Abstract :
IBT (interbus transformer) is a transformer that connects and converts from an extra high voltage system to a high voltage system. The working process of the IBT transformer to distribute electrical energy is supported by one part of the IBT transformer called the bushing. Bushing is the part that connects the winding with the outside network. Hotspot is a temperature parameter used to determine the capabilities of the equipment. This temperature rise there is a limit allowed on the equipment in order to maintain the life of the equipment. Hotspot on the bushing can occur due to the installation of the bushing ros head must be perfect, there is no tilt and looseness in the bushing contact. The method used to repair the hotspot is to perform maintenance on the replacement of the primary neutral lead bushing for the T phase of IBT 2 at GITET Balaraja. In the maintenance of replacing the primary neutral lead bushing in the T bay IBT 2 phase, thermovision measurements and tan delta tests were carried out. In thermovision measurements using the SK Dir 520 standard in 2014 where the temperature at the primary neutral bushing clamp for the T bay IBT 2 phase after repair is 47.28 c. The calculation value of tan delta is carried out using the equation according to the standard SK Dir 520 in 2014 and the value of tan delta on the primary neutral bushing T phase IBT 2 is 0.23% where the results are categorized as good. Furthermore, by calculating power losses 7 days before and 7 days after maintenance, it was found that a decrease in the value of power losses was obtained as much as 48.74%
