Abstract :
Circuit Breaker (CB) Testing needs to be done to determine the condition of the CB. From the tests that have been carried out, the results of the insulation resistance test are still in good condition, namely, 78.3 G?, 96.8 G?, and 76.7 G? at the bottom terminal to ground. For the upper terminal because there is an induced voltage, the test is not carried out. In the contact resistance test, the results obtained are, in the R phase 110.84 ??, in the S phase 35.32 ?? , and in the T phase 35.90 ??. In phase R the results are not in accordance with the standard and need to be repaired. High contact resistance results in power loss, loss of electrical energy, and loss of electricity costs. Where the power loss in the R phase before repairs is 4.5 W and loss of electrical energy is 19.44 kWh for 6 months,. Improvements made to the CB are straightening the tilted Pole A and cleaning the clamps. After completion of repairs and re-measurements, the contact resistance has met the standard, namely the result of Pole A contact resistance is 37 ??. in the simultaneous test, the results are in good condition, namely the difference in the open time is 1.3ms and the close time difference is 2.9ms.
