Abstract :
Along with the times, the need for electrical energy will continue to increase, so that in the process of distributing electrical energy it is necessary to pay attention to the quality and reliability of electric power. To achieve this, the power company needs to carry out routine maintenance to maintain the performance of existing equipment. To minimize blackouts when maintenance is carried out, maintenance can be carried out by PDKB (Hot Line Maintenance). The research method used is quantitative methods, namely by collecting maintenance data and then performing calculations and analyzing the results of these calculations. The purpose of this study was to determine how much energy was saved and the rupiah was saved. So that we can compare in outline how much potential loss and profit at PT. PLN (Persero) UP3 Demak if maintenance work is carried out with blackouts and PDKB. The advantage with the PDKB activity is that the energy that can be saved within a year namely in 2020 is 1.783.935,70 kWh and the rupiah that can be saved within a year namely in 2020 is Rp 1.638.741.790,27
