Abstract :
One type of transmission line is a high-voltage cable line. High-voltage cable lines use cables as a medium to distribute electricity from the electrical energy center to the load center. In this final project, a research is conducted on the Analysis of Power Loss Effects of Substitution of Oil Insulating Cables with XLPE Insulating Cables on the 150 KV SKTT Line from GI Angke to GIS Ketapang. This research was conducted at PT. PLN ULTG Karet at SKTT Angke-Ketapang, where the oil cable was replaced with an XLPE cable. From this problem, the researcher wants to see what problems occur in the oil cable and calculate how much the power loss decreases after replacing the cable. From the data on the addition of oil pressure, it is known that there is an oil leak in the R and S phase cables of the stop joint 3 cable channel to GIS Ketapang and in the S phase of the Angke GI cable channel to the stop joint 3. Based on the calculation results of the power loss value on the oil cable it is 70561,617 W and on XLPE cable of 11058,715 After replacing the cable, the power loss decreased by 84.32% which was calculated based on the daily peak current.
