Abstract :
The grounding system is an important factor in the safety of the electric power system. The grounding system serves to ground in the event of an overvoltage or overcurrent so that it can reduce the danger that arises in the event of a disturbance. Factors that can affect the value of grounding are soil type, size, type of electrode and depth of electrode. To reduce the grounding value, it is done by adding a 3m long electrode rod and modifying the electrode rod by paralleling it or using the grid method. In the KDPTOMO feeder in the REC.GLX-DGS segment there are 14 poles whose grounding value is measured, of those 14 poles there are 3 poles that do not meet the standard. The standard value according to PUIL is not more than 1 Ohm. The following are the results of grounding measurements on GSW and LA on poles whose values do not meet the standards, namely TOMO.205 LA poles have a value of 4.27 Ohms, TOMO.210 LA has a value of 35.4 Ohms, TOMO.211 LA has a value of 6.71 Ohms. The steps taken are to improve it by adding electrode rods to the TOMO.205 pole and TOMO.211,
while on the TOMO.210 pole by adding 4 electrodes. So that the grounding value can meet existing standards, namely the TOMO.205 pole has a value of 1.12 Ohms, TOMO.210 has a value of 1.28 Ohms, and TOMO.211 has a value of 1.15 Ohms.
