Abstract :
Cross Flow turbine consists of a runner and nozzle. Runnernya tubular has a number of fixed blade mounted between the two disks supported by poros.Permukaan sudunya have lingkaran.Sedangkan nozzlenya arc curvature have a rectangular cross-section on the entry side and has a roof with arch shape or spiral or circular arc on the work logaritmis.Prinsip Cross Flow turbine water coming out of the nozzle into the runner blades menumbruk first level and then the water out of the hallway blades of the first level and the empty spaces in the next runner towards the level of the second and the water out through the hall blade second level. With the addition of two guide blades inside with each of the 340 streams more water flow so that the turbine efficiency. In experiments with open guide vane 50% and ordinary cross flow turbine efesiennsi 5,4% and by 8,6% while the steering blade guide vane openings 100% cross flow turbine usual efesiennsi 11,4% and 15,8% with a steering blade.
