Abstract :
The pump is a machine that functions to move liquid from one container to another through a pipe by adding energy to the liquid which will be moved continuously and continuously for 24 hours. Boiler Feed Pump is one application of the use of centrifugal pumps that have a large size in steam power plant companies. The pump itself has the function to control and supply water at a predetermined amount and comes from the water tank (Feed Water Tank) to the boiler with certain pressure specifications. The Boiler Feed Pump experienced a leak in the MechanicalSeal and a mis-alignment occurred in the Boiler Feed Pump. The cause of this misalignment occurs because a shaft surface is forced to deviate from its proper position so that excessive force and moment can trigger misalignment of the pump, so that the realignment of the Boiler Feed pump is carried out Pumps. The cause of the leak in the boiler feed pump is because the mechanical seal has started to wear out, caused by friction against the engine shaft and eventually causes the mechanical seal to wear out, so that the Mechanical Seal changes to the Boiler Feed Pump pump
