Abstract :
The process of generating electrical energy to distribution to users in order to provide results in a system definition of the electric power system. The research was conducted in the form of an analysis of the performance of the Cijedil PLTMH in charging the electrical system. The study was conducted in the form of looking at the difference between the actual output power and the design output power, seeing the effect of air flow on the efficiency of a PLTMH. The research was conducted on the actual and design output power, water discharge according to the design, efficiency and loading of PLTMH. The water discharge required to reach the technical value of the equipment is 0.506 m3/s for a generator capacity of 174 kVA and 0.640 m3/s for a generator with a capacity of 220 kVA. The output power that can be supplied to the Cipanas feeder is 282,865 kVA. Loading in Simulation with the Help of Software ETAP 12.6 (Electrical Transient Analysis Program). The research method was carried out by reviewing data from the Cijedil PLTMH 630 kW. Simulations are carried out in 2 loading scenarios, namely: 1) 50% load; 2) 80% load
