Abstract :
With the increasing economic and infrastructure growth in Sorong district, West Papua province in recent years PT. PLN (Persero) Papua's Main Development Unit (UIP) has built
the Sorong Substation and the 150 kV Aimas-Sorong High Voltage Air Line (SUTT). This study aims to analyze the feasibility of voltage drop, power losses and efficiency at the 150 kV Aimas-Sorong SUTT based on the operating standard of SPLN No. 1 of 1995 and SPLN no. 72 of 1987. The analytical method used is descriptive analysis of presentence which will be carried
out. The calculation of the transmission line power flow is based on the quantitative data that has been collected to be able to calculate the feasibility of the voltage drop, power losses, and
the efficiency of the 150 kV Aimas-Sorong SUTT and then a qualitative conclusion will be drawn. Based on the calculation of the average in May, the results show that the voltage drop
that occurs is 0.0653%, power losses are 12.054.625 W, and the efficiency of the transmission line is 99.88%, so it can be concluded that the voltage drop, losses the power and efficiency of the 150 kV Aimas-Sorong SUTT is feasible to operate and meets the standards of SPLN No. 1 of 1995 and SPLN no. 72 of 1987
