Abstract :
Brushless DC motor (BLDC) or brushless DC motor is a type of DC motor commonly used in electric bicycles, electric motors and electric cars. Compared to other types of DC motors, BLDC motors are more widely used in electric vehicles because BLDC motors have many advantages, especially in carrying out more precise control. In order to control the BLDC motor accurately, a tool is needed to drive and control the rotation of the BLDC motor which is commonly called a motor driver or BLDC motor. A BLDC motor driver is an integrated power electronics circuit that requires a control circuit to control its speed. In this research, the BLDC motor driver will create a control system for the BLDC motor.In this BLDC motor driver there is also a 3-phase inverter which plays an important role in controlling the motor. The research was conducted by designing a control system to keep the motor speed stable at a certain level. The motor speed will be controlled by entering the PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) value, where each PWM value produces a different speed. This test was conducted to see how the influence of PWM on the speed of the BLDC Motor. When the PWM duty cycle is increased from 25% to 50%, the motor rotational speed will also increase from 152.5 RPM to 317.3 RPM. From these data, the greater the PWM value, the greater the rotational speed of the motor
