Abstract :
The performance and reliability of the transformer, must always be maintained so that the transformer has a longer life. However, this is still considered negligent by several companies with unsystematic maintenance and repair schedules, causing the transformer life to be reduced and must be replaced immediately. In this research, a method called RLA (Remaining Life Assessment) will be carried out on a 3000 KVA transformer to analyze the remaining life of the equipment. It starts with analyzing the failure mode to find out the causes and consequences of the failure. Then from the failure data, it will be simulated using Reliasoft Weibull++ Software. Based on the simulation results, the output in the form of reliability value, probability of failure, and also the remaining life as well as the graph is obtained. The remaining life obtained from the analysis using the RLA method is 7 years, which will then be given recommendations in the form of a maintenance schedule for daily, monthly, three-monthly, six-monthly, and yearly time periods.
