Abstract :
The distribution of electricity in the Palembang First Customer Service Unit is divided into several substations, and the substation consists of several feeders. Several substations at PT. PLN UP3 Palembang, where from the results of surveys and case studies conducted at the Kenten and Sako Borang substations, there is one feeder that has an uneven peak day and night load, causing a voltage drop on the BMW feeder which classified under the standard SPLN No. 72 of 1987 which is below 5%. Because of the voltage drop problem, the author intends to simulate the maneuver pattern of the feeder with the load breaking method on the Platinum feeder. At the same time, the Platinum feeder has an excessive peak load presentation, so to reduce the excessive peak load on the Platinum feeder, an effort is made to break the load by connecting the network from the Platinum feeder to one of the feeders at the Kenten substation experiencing a voltage drop, namely the feeder. BMW. The feeder is maneuvered with a BMW feeder, the simulation is carried out using the ETAP 16.0 application. The results obtained are the percentage of voltage drop before the maneuver pattern on the BMW feeder is 5.35%, and after being maneuvered it is 1.89%. So that the simulation results of the feeder maneuver can reduce the percentage of voltage drop on the BMW feeder..
