Abstract :
The best forecasting is a forecasting that can be used precisely with the purpose of the forecasting, regardless of the accuracy value and cost required in conducting the forecasting. The forecasting used here is done for one of the steps taken in planning. Planning related to the usage of electrical energy needs to be done by PT. PLN UP2D Cikokol to prepare the electricity provided. Forecasting used is a method of forecasting using a time series method which means using data based on the past used to perform future forecasting. Unlike predictions made without using data in the past, forecasters use data in the past to perform future forecasting. The forecasting is done here using the Artificial Neural Network method which is a method inspired by human scrambled neural networks that are constantly trained to be used to be able to process data into data output. And from the research it can be explained that the forecasting conducted in 2021 to 2025 is not seen to rise constantly and there is a decrease in electricity use even though previously electricity use was seen to rise significantly.
