Abstract :
Solar Power plant (PLTS) is as a source of renewable energy utilization convert of the sun's energy into electrical energy. This technology is potentially applied in Indonesia, which has a tropical climate, where renewable energy has utilization is an alternative that can continue to develop. To optimize the intensity of sunlight received by the solar panel, there is a system design requires the angle of inclination of the panel which is the most accurate to the receiver of solar radiation that the most high. Therefore, the discussion in this thesis, by using the comparison of the experimental method, the calculation formula, and using the software PVsyst. This research discusses about the measurement of the sun window for the determination of the tilt angle of the solar panels that are optimal, in order to obtain voltage (V), current (I), and radiation (W/m2) the best. The results of the research obtained the best angle for solar panels in the Laboratory of New and Renewable Energy (EBT) IT-PLN is worth 20o with a range of angles between 0o to 50o facing towards the north on June 16 ? July 1, 2021.
