Abstract :
Depreciation occurs due to the power supplied is not proportional to the received power or in other words the loss of a power at the time of delivery by the substation tho the customer. Power loss is a problem that cannot be eliminated by PT.PLN but can be reduced in several ways such as by analyzing using the ETAP application program. The Gumul Feeder in the city of Kediri because it. Serves many tourist areas, restaurants, and households that support the city?s economy. The amount of power loss in this feeder must be maintained so that it does not exceed the allowable limit. The research was conducted by comparing the results of manual calculations with the result of simulations on a series of ETAP programs under normal conditions. Based on the results of manual calculation using the equation that have been used, the power loss was 45 kW with a percentage loss of 11,47% and 15,1 kW with a percentage loss of 0,49%. When compared with the SPLN 72 the results of the two calculations are still below the standard which limits the power loss value of 2,3%.
