Abstract :
The need for electrical energy is very important for human life. In Indonesia the demand for electricity is very high. So the government continues to meet the needs of electrical energy with the construction of power plants. Cilegon Combined Cycle Power Plant (PLTGU Cilegon) is one of the reliable power plants that has a rapid response to load changes, relying on the gas turbine unit to optimize the efficiency of PLTGU for the load change response. Therefore, gas turbine units often experience reduced efficiency and performance in operation. Thus, it can affect the efficiency of PLTGU itself. To maintain the performance of gas turbines, turbine equipment must be maintained with periodic maintenance of each major component of the gas turbine, so that it can work optimally. In this final project will be analyzed the efficiency of gas turbine unit 2 before and after overhaul turbine inspection with loading operation 126MW, 196MW, and 232MW at PT. Indonesia Power Unit Power Plant PLTGU Cilegon. So it can analyze the influence and impact of the overhaul on the efficiency of gas turbine with different loading on PLTGU Cilegon.
