Abstract :
The feeding of chicken farming must be done regularly so the quality of the meat produced is maintained. A device to ensure the feeding of poultry has done regularly and automatically can be developed. This device will be helpful not only because it works automatically, but also it can be operated remotely based on Bluetooth. The method used in this study is an experimental method by testing the tools made. The components used are Arduino Uno, HC-05 Bluetooth Module, FC-51 Infrared Sensor, HC-SR04 Ultrasonic Sensor, Servo Motor, L298N Motor Driver Module. The tool works based on commands sent via an application on a cellular phone via bluetooth so that the hose driven by a DC motor goes to an empty feed container until the hose is detected by the infrared sensor. If the ultrasonic sensor does not detect the presence of feed at a distance of >5 cm from the sensor, the servo motor will open the valve so that the feed can be filled into the container. The valve will close if the ultrasonic sensor detects feed at a distance of <5 cm. Based on the test results, the automatic chicken feeder can work well according to the purpose of making the tool
