Abstract :
The rapid development of technology has an impact on the demand for electrical energy supply which is the main need of society in everyday life. This is a big job for the electric power provider. In this case PT. State Electricity Company (Persero) to make the distribution of electric power properly. In the distribution of electric power, initially the load on each phase is different, namely the R, S and T phases are divided evenly but the operating time on these loads is not simultaneous and causes load imbalances in each transformer phase (R, S and T) and also causes current to flow in neutral. Therefore it is necessary to balance the load on a regular basis. In the process of distributing electrical energy, there is often an uneven distribution of the load in each phase. This load imbalance always occurs because of inequalities in the use of electrical energy. This R, S, T phase imbalance will cause a current to flow in the neutral conductor of the transformer, then the current causes power losses in the transformer. The analytical method used in this study is a quantitative method, in this study the analytical technique used in this research is a descriptive analysis technique. Where in this research will be conducted an assessment of the technical data on energy losses distribution of PT. PLN (Persero) ulp bintan center tanjungpinang. The work procedure carried out in the measurement before balancing the transformer load at PT. PLN (Persero) is using Standard Operating Procedures from PT. PLN (Persero). The percentage of the load balance value at the RBC 62 substation distribution transformer has improved in value. The average percentage value of transformer loading before load equalization is 34.33%, after load distribution is carried out, the percentage of loading decreases to 6.66% and the improvement in shrinkage before balancing is 0.30kW with a presentation of 0.35% and after balancing decreased by 0.22kW with a percentage of 0.25%, so after balancing the load the value of losses due to the neutral current in the neutral conductor of the transformer was reduced by 0.01%. Based on the results of the current balancing between phases, it can be said that the "health index" at the RBC 62 transformer substation is stated below 10% or stated in a "good" condition.
