Abstract :
In this study, the planning for the installation of PLTS at SMAN 2 Abung Semuli will use the On-Grid system based on the energy demand for one day of 125.816 kWh. The On-Grid system was chosen because the load that will be supplied by PLTS is only at 07.00 WIB - 15.00 WIB, besides that it can reduce electricity consumption from PLN through export-import electricity and can even benefit. Planning for the installation of PLTS is intended to deal with the problem of power outages that often occur so that it interferes with teaching and learning activities. Based on the data obtained and using a quantitative approach, several values have been calculated such as array area, number of modules, annual energy production, and output power. From these results, the planning Performance Ratio (PR) value is 85% so that the planning for PLTS installation can be said to be feasible. Based on the results of the economic feasibility analysis, the construction of this PLTS requires an initial investment of Rp.265.442.033 and will be profitable assuming the age of the PLTS is 20 years. Assuming the selling price per kWh is Rp.870 which is less than 85% of the cost of BPP PLN Lampung of Rp.883, the return on investment will be achieved in the 3rd month of the 16th year.
