Abstract :
This insulator is just what it does to separate voltage conductors from non-voltage conductors or to separate sections of ground-based wire from the wire to prevent interference with the public in the surrounding areas. Which causes insulation surfaces to become dirty, such as mosses, dust, salt, rain, as well as gas-shaped sewage from factories. When the rain falls, it can be conductive to the surface of the insulator. Where this conductive behavior would create an electrical current that would run through the isolator surface. The purpose of this study is to know how characteristics of insulated porcelain plate types to pollutants and weather variables. The method used in this test is your discharge test and your discharge test. As a result of testing the completed tests was the strength of a ceramic plate insulator at 20 kV by 60 seconds, which in the rain with a salt pollutant this insulator could not withstand a 1.402 ma rating. The result of your test of the lowest voltage discharge is in a state of rain with a salt pollutant where the voltage is 27.252 kV with a leaking current of 1.728 mA.
