Abstract :
Unbalanced Load is an event where the load in all three phases is not the same, causing a neutral current to arise. This Unbalanced load cannot be avoided because it must always occur especially in electric power distribution systems. The installation of a new connection that is pulled to the nearest phase load creates an imbalance of the load. This can also happen due to the use of burdens by different consumers at the time of ignition. Neutral current arising from this load imbalance is what can harm the electricity production, namely PT. PLN (persero) because of the neutral current that arises will cause loss (losses). In this study, the authors conducted a study to analyze the unbalanced load that occurred in three distribution transformers owned by PT. PLN (Persero) ULP Pangkalan Kerinci. The steps used to conduct this research begin with a search for literature or referrals related to the topic discussed. Then you can then collect data from the field and perform calculations. For power losses obtained from the largest in the KRC 38 Distribution Transformer (200 KVA) 16.65 KW, then the KRC 07 (160 KVA) Distribution Transformer 10.86 KW,and the SP 48 (100 KVA) Distribution Transformer 10.18KW.
