Abstract :
Human errors and disturbances that occur in operations are inseparable from the problems that occur on ships. This condition will result in several disturbances in the operation of the ship, such as disturbances in the captain's system, navigation system, speed delays and even worse blackouts. This makes the boiler one of the most important components in the operation because it produces steam from the combustion process. Boiler can be interpreted (a device that produces steam from water) or commonly called a steam boiler. To identify problems or disturbances, the researcher uses the Bow-Tie method, where this method is an analysis method for identifying problems and risks that occur to find a prevention method. This study uses a qualitative approach because the problems are quite complex and dynamic so that the data obtained are taken from trusted journals and taken from observations using the Kongsberg simulator. In addition, the researcher intends to understand the social situation in depth, find patterns and theories that are in accordance with the data obtained in the field. In this discussion, the parameters of the disturbance that occur can be determined using the Kongsberg simulator with the frequent occurrence of disturbances in these components. This is why this research serves to find solutions to problems that occur by simulating frequent disturbances with the right steps to get reliable operation.
