Abstract :
In the village of Gumiwang Banjarnegara, there are PLTMHs that use turbine screw or archimedes that have not been used due to design errors that cause the MHP is not used by the local government, so this is what supports the writer to conduct research and improve the PLTMH turbine water type screw by building prototypenya as one way to tackle the unused MHPP. The turbine rotation at PLTMH Gumiwang is 28 rpm. By making prototype with scale down method and tested to produce rotation equal to 222 rpm, power 277,5 watt and efficiency equal to 47,14%. And also the influence of turbine dimension is very influential on Turbine Round, So it can be concluded that Turbine redesigned better so that can replace turbine in gumiwang village, Banjarnegara
