Abstract :
The construction of high-rise apartment buildings began to develop in many big cities, especially in Jakarta and its surroundings. The number of apartment developments cannot
be separated from the role of designer experts such as architecture, civil engineering, mechanical engineering and electrical designers in planning their construction. The
problem in planning the electric power distribution system in high-rise buildings is about the safety of the electricity distribution system to be built. The calculation of the value of
safety protection from the smallest load technically must comply with applicable standards and rules. In Indonesia, the standards used for electrical installations are the General Electrical Installation Requirements (PUIL) and the State Electricity Company Standard (SPLN). This thesis describes how to analyze electrical installation planning, especially for high-rise buildings such as apartments based on the load side used in the electrical installation system. The analysis was carried out using two methods, namely manually and using the EcoStruxure Power Design ? Ecodial INT V4.95 software which
then compared the results with the provisions of PUIL and SPLN. The total load on the mock up unit on the 3rd floor of the Sky House Alam Sutera Apartment is 55,591 VA, so that the required power supply from PLN is selected using a 60 kVA transformer. Each room unit uses a capacity of 3,500 VA with an MCB rating of 16 Ampere as safety. Determination of the type of cable and overcurrent protection uses the KHA value and is
in accordance with the standards set for electrical installations
