Abstract :
The more use of electrical energy in the community and industry, the equipment in the electrical system will also increase. The transformer is one of the important components in the electrical system that connects the transmission subsystem with the distribution subsystem. The transformers used also consist of several types. One type of transformer is the Oil Type Transformer. The Oil Type Transformer consists of two generations, namely the first generation Oil-Immersed Transformer and the second generation 3D Oil-Immersed Transformer. In this study, the authors conducted a comparative analysis of Oil-Immersed Transformer and 3D Oil-Immersed Transformer with a capacity of 630 kVA based on nominal current, transformer turn ratio, resistance of winding, losses, excitation current, efficiency, resistance, reactance, impedance. on the transformer. Although these two transformers have the same capacity, the magnitude of the resistance of winding, losses, excitation current, efficiency, resistance, reactance, and impedance of the transformer may be different. Losses on Oil-Immersed Transformer for no load loss are 1,310.3 Watts and 75°C load loss are 7,458.22 Watts, while on 3D Oil-Immersed Transformers for no load loss are 620.1 Watts and 75°C load loss of 6727.12 Watts. The excitation current for the Oil-Immersed Transformer is 2.01%, while for the 3D Oil-Immersed Transformer it is 0.36%. The efficiency of the Oil-Immersed Transformer is 98.63% while the 3D Oil-Immersed Transformer is 98.84%. The Oil-Immersed Transformer has 1.18% resistance, 4.01% reactance, 4.18% impedance, while for 3D Oil-Immersed Transformer it has 1.07% resistance, 3.58% reactance, 3.73% impedance
