Abstract :
The need for electrical energy is increasing from year to year in line with the increasing growth and infrastructure development in Indonesia. With a tropical climate in Indonesia that has high solar energy potential with average daily irradiation - an average of 4.5 kWh / m2 to 4.8 kWh / m2.. According to PERMEN ESDM RI Law number 16 of 2019 concerning the Second Amendment to the Regulation of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources number 49 of 2018 about the use of rooftop solar power generation systems, the government through its institutions authorized to manage electrical energy. This study discusses the design of the on-grid PV mini-grid system using HelioScope simulation on the rooftop of the Saumata Suites Apartment and its feasibility analysis from an economic point of view. In the design using 176 solar panels of the Trina Solar brand, TSM-DE20-600W 600Wp, 2 inverters of the Huawei SUN2000-50KTL-M0 brand with a capacity of 50 kW, and an AC Combiner Box containing protection and support equipment for this PLTS system. From the calculation results, the initial investment cost required for this PLTS system is Rp. 1,517,099,344,20 with operational and maintenance costs of Rp. 22,756,490.16. For energy costs (COE) of Rp. 1,054/kWh. The results of the feasibility analysis of the PLTS system investment show that the NPV has a positive value of Rp. 8,971,092.24, the IRR value is 9.04% and the BCR value is 1.006. If the NPV, IRR, and BCR values are positive, then the investment for the PLTS system is said to be feasible. The Pay Back Period (PBP) occurs in the 9th year of the PLTS operation.
