Abstract :
Electrical energy is energy that is needed by society. The need for electrical energy in Indonesia is very high and the day the demand for electrical energy is increasing. This causes the load demand has varation. So it takes a plant that can respond quickly in the load changes. PT. Indonesia Power PLTGU Cilegon is one of the reliable power generators that has good response to load changes. Therefore, gas turbine units often experience reduced efficiency and performance in operation. Thus, it can affect the efficiency of PLTGU it self. Thus it is necessary to check the efficiency of the gas turbine in order to know the effect of variation loading on the efficiency of the gas turbine. After operating on 204 MW at 50.965% and 48.985% at. So it would be very efficient if the PLTG operates in both cases
