Abstract :
Along with population growth that continues to increase every year on the island of Lombok, of course, demand for electrical energy will continue to increase, especially Lombok Island will become the best halal tourist island in the world, therefore, to support this, a stable and reliable electricity supply is needed. Therefore, to improve reliability and maintain the supply of electrical power, the addition of a 136 MW Lombok Peaker
PLTMG generator consisting of 13 generator units and 2 blocks to meet load requirements and the existence of spinning reserve in a system. As a result, with the condition of the addition of this generator requires an analysis related to the stability of the transient when a transient disturbance occurs. In this final project, a transient analysis will be carried out with a case study of generator outage, short circuit in the line
and line trip with determination of critical clearing time using Digsilent Programing Language simulation. The results of the simulation show that when the generator outage, the system frequency is still in a stable condition , when there is a short circuit on the Ampenan - Jeranjang line, the most optimal Critical clearing time value is 0.109 s on Jeranjang busbar and when a short circuit occurs on the Ampenan - Peaker line the
optimal Critical Clearing time value is 0.117 on the bus. Lombok peakers.
